The redesign of Horizon was a multi-stage project. It aimed to modernize the outdated in-house software by expanding functionality, built on top of a new web tech stack. To unite the three stages of the project, I developed a design system. Account opening was one of the first products to adopt the new design system and framework, helping future influence direction.

Action
Review and create design elements for the design systems.
I started by going back through the designed screens and compiling essential elements. Which immediately gave our designs more cohesion. Next, I worked with the rest of the base elements, such as secondary and status colors, based on brand standards.

Quick collaboration and development.
As a result, we collaborated quickly, brought consistency to the two tracks, and reduced development debt. Setting the foundation for Horizon Plus and the Loan Management System.
